Well, I am not qualified to say whether it is or isn't real. However, based on my subjective experience having been in the classroom for thirty years, I believe it is exaggerated because we know there are problems but we are lurching around trying to find out what they are . And yes, I believe exercise and curbing cell phone use would greatly help the "crisis". It seems you missed the part where I said a complete overhaul of the education system is needed to make it address complex issues of today.
