The Daily Annoyance

The purpose of this title is twofold:

1. I am going to relate to you something that annoys me on a daily basis.
2. Since I plan to do this on a daily basis for a bit, I will probably annoy some of you on a daily basis. Sorry.

Ok, something that annoys me today is …. the birds in my neighborhood.

A few weeks back, I bought a birdfeeder. I had dreams of throngs of happy birds enjoying my offerings while regaling my family and I with songs in order to express their appreciation.

But, I live in Northern Virginia, where many people are snooty and evidently so are the birds.

These finicky ass avians shun my feeder as though I loaded it with something as distasteful as a Tucker Carlson tweet.

Beggars evidently CAN be choosers, and they choose to ignore my feeder!
