If you have teens or preteens at home, do they hear like every fifth word you say and then start a totally new conversation? Ex:
Me: Hey, Bob Saget died!
April Gunnels Cascio : He did?
Zoey: Bob Marley died?
Me: He sure did, about 40 years ago
Wyatt: Who did what?
Me: Bob Saget died.
April: You know the guy from Full House
Wyatt: Which guy from Full House
Zoey: Full house? Mom’s pregnant again?
Me: God NO, Bob Saget died for Christ’s sake!!!
Wyatt: Who is Chris Take?
April: You have to be kidding me!
Zoey: Hey guys! Bob Saget died!
